I’ve been threatening to do this for years. When I was a kid I had a Hornby 00 guage railway, quite a sizeable one actually, but my dad sold it because we were hard up. So, after much deliberation, and 45 years later, I went out and bought a load of N guage stuff, realised I couldn’t see it properly (too damn small!) and promptly sold it all.

I left things alone for a year and then said to myself, “Life’s too short” and purchased the Venice-Simplon-Express British Pullman Set (Arm and a leg job - see opposite!!) in 00 guage DCC Fitted and this website is the story of the creation of my toy railway.
